Snowshoes: Col du Pillon–Fenil Durand

Time for a walk with snowshoes to reconnect with nature and its beauty. Plunge yourself into the peaceful atmosphere of the snowy landscape. The route of Fenil Durand is an easy loop just over 4 kilometres.

This route marked Swiss Snow Shoe n°6 is an alternative easier route to "Les Roseires" from Col du Pillon- Pont Bourquin-Les Moilles-Col du Pillon. To reach this route, join Col du Pillon by car or with the free shuttle bus from Les Diablerets. The route starts on the snow-covered road that takes you to Lac Retaud and crosses the forest (road also for pedestrians). Around 300 metres before arriving at Lac Retaud, in the last turn, fork to the left crossing the hilly landscape and the forest. Head in the direction of "Fenil Durand" then go back up the road that follows the route du Pillon above, in the direction of Col du Pillon. You can do this route both ways (around 1h30-2h) or combine with other snowshoeing routes such as the route of Rard (n°7) for example.
