Walk – Chablais Heights

This moderately difficult walk will delight anyone who loves alpine views, with an outlook over the whole of Chablais and neighbouring resorts.Discover the finest views of Chablais between Roc d'Orsay and Villars.

From Bretaye station, follow the path along the flank of the Grand Chamossaire to the upper station of the Roc d'Orsay gondola lift.

Then walk down the track towards Combe d'Orsay to get to the Col d'Argnaules. Then follow the ridge to "Le Peret" and take the path down to La Truche, which is quite steep in places. When you get to La Truche, continue along the ridge. When you get to the reservoir, take the right path to the first houses in Les Ecovets. You’ll end up on a very steep tarmac road.

At the end of this road, take the small path to the left. This is the Les Chavasses path which takes you directly to the centre of Villars.
