A challenging walk offering a 360° vista of the Vaud Alps, Les Diablerets and its glacier, the Creux de Culan, Taveyanne and Coufin.
Starting from the Col de la Croix car park, head for the L’Alpage du Col de la Croix. Etivaz cheese (made from cow’s milk) is still made here according to the purest traditional methods, during the summer period.
Then head towards L'Arpille. After the farm, take the path up to your right (difficult). Once you get to the top of this climb, you’ll be rewarded by spectacular views.
Be careful when approaching the Pointe d'Arpille which is on the side of a cliff. Return down the other slope circling back to the Alpage de la Croix before walking back to the car park.
