Every Wednesday afternoon, you can discover the great variety of regional mid-altitude plants, accompanied by a guide.
Our region offers an abundance of eatable plants. In the company of a professional guide, you visit the Alpine meadows around Bretaye, where you can pick and sample your own plants. After this experience, you will see our region’s Alpine meadows in a new way.
Compulsory registration, before 5:00pm on the previous day, at Villars Tourist Office.
Meeting point at Villars train station at 1:40pm, return at the same place at 5:25pm or 5:50pm (depending on the walk)
From 12 years old
Do not forget to bring with you :
- your Free Access card
- Hiking shoes, sunscreen, raincoat if needed, hat or cap, sunglasses,
- drink and snack

Free Access Card
The "Plants and their secrets" walk with the Free Access Card includes:
- the guided walk which will take place from 3 June until 5 August, every Wednesday from 1:45pm to 5:50pm
- transport (train or bus)
Registration up to Tuesday at the Villars Tourist Office. The number of places is limited.
Walk recommend for people over 12 years of age.
