- Movies about the past life in Les Ormonts

The Musée des Ormonts is currently showing an exhibition dedicated to the numerous painters who were inspired by the beauty of the Alps.

Each painter has a very personal view of the valley and conveys it using his own vision, lighting, palette of colours and framework. Showcased over 3 floors, around one hundred paintings represent a diverse range of what has been painted since the 1850s.

The artists include François Birbaum, Frédéric Dufaux, Albert Duplain, Edouard Morerod, Charles Parisod, Jean Prahin, Fernand Morel and Frédéric Rouge.

“Game folders” are available for children to make their visit more fun. A projection room featuring old and new films about traditional life in the Ormonts region completes the visit.
