Come to Chalet d'Isenau, one of the sites selected to produce L'Etivaz, AOC (Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée) and find out how the cheese is really made in Les Diablerets.

Emil and Heidi Schopfer have spent the entire summer turning the milk collected into delicious L'Etivaz AOC, a hard, alpine pasture cheese made with unpasteurised milk, over open wood fires according to a strict process established by the L'Etivaz cooperative. The snack bar at the chalet offers a selection of products made on site and sourced locally.
