Located at the foot of the Vaudois Alps, Café Suisse offers a festival of colours, flavours and surprises. The specialists of the illustrious Gault & Millau guide awarded 16 points to Chef Marie Robert and her staff consisting entirely of women.
It is said that women cooks produce more refined and aesthetic dishes. This is confirmed daily to the guests of Café Suisse in Bex. Chef Marie Robert and her entirely female staff confer an artistic note to each of their dishes. There are even trompe l'oeil, such as an egg consisting of mango with its juice and cream. This very young chef always has some surprising ideas up her sleeve, which earns her loyal guests.
She most certainly learned this from working with Thierry Marx, a grand French chef well known by fans of culinary TV broadcasts. Chef Marx taught Marie Robert well: she received 16 Gault & Millau points in 2019 and the award of the 2019 Gault & Millau "best cook".
The renovated dining room is very welcoming, and the wine card promises lovely discoveries from here and elsewhere.
