SOLALEX IN WINTER
In winter, reach Solalex on foot, snowshoes or cross-country skis: several routes lead you to this magical and peaceful place. The wild and romantic setting offers an impressive panorama of the Miroir d'Argentine and the Diablerets massif, which overlook the mountain pasture.
Nestled at the end of the road, the Refuge de Solalex welcomes you every day for lunch and dinner. Enjoy an excellent wood-fired raclette, oven-baked Vacherin-Mont d'Or AOP, the famous tomato fondue and many other mouth-watering specialities. Authentic and warm atmosphere.

SOLALEX IN SUMMER
Solalex, a green mountain pasture situated at an altitude of 1460 metres, offers peace and quiet and a change of scenery to walkers, hikers and cyclists who come to venture there; an ideal place for families and nature lovers. It is from here, among other things, that the Tour de l'Argentine begins; climbers also leave from here to climb the famous Miroir d'Argentine, the largest slab in Europe.
Soak your feet in the crystal-clear waters of the Avançon river, make friends with the goats and cows, or share a picnic by the river while sitting comfortably in the sun.

For more comfort, combine contemplation and gustatory pleasures at the Miroir d'Argentine restaurant or at the Solalex refuge; these two establishments welcome you from May to October.

In July and August, visit the Ateliers de Solalex. Local artists exhibit daily handicrafts, paintings and photos in the sheepfolds near the Refuge de Solalex and the Restaurant du Miroir d'Argentine.
