Climbing in Anzeinde - The Essets boulders

These 3 large boulders have a lot of mini routes, ideal for introducing family or friends or even school parties to the sport

These large boulders are to be found close to the path shortly before reaching the Col des Essets.

From Solalex, access is via Anzeinde followed by a further walk in the direction of the Col des Essets.
The boulders are on either side of the path.
Bolts are fitted, but you will need a rope to climb the 6 to 8 metre long routes.
The walk across the pastures of Anzeinde in the heart of the Vaudois Alps takes about one hour.

On your way back, why not drop in to the Giacomini Refuge or the Refuge de la Tour for refreshments
