Villars (Roc d'Orsay) - Les Bouquetins – Bretaye

You want to get to Bretaye on foot? This path via Les Bouquetins gets you there in an hour!

Starting from the Roc d'Orsay car park, facing the gondola lift, you take the Route des Layeux on your left then the first road on your right (Route des Cheseaux). Heading towards La Résidence, you’ll walk under the gondolas then in a little while leave the road and take the path along the stream, La Petite Gryonne, along an uphill shady path, through chalets and apartment blocks.
Then you keep climbing, mainly through forest, until you get to Les Bouquetins, passing the Maison de Montagne nearby. Just one last effort and you’ll reach Les Bouquetins and see Bretaye a few hundred metres further on.
