Lac Retaud - Isenau - Metreile - Arpille - La Para (2'540m)- Col de Seron - Arpille - Chalet d'Isenau - Isenau

A challenging route with an impressive 360 vista at the summit

From Metreile, climb the steep path to Arpille, then keep going to the summit of La Para. From the summit, the path heads down to Col du Seron, then to Arpille. From here, keep going on the narrow path that crosses below the summit of La Chaux to the Isenau Mountain Chalet, then to La Marnèche snack bar and then back to your starting point in Lake Retaud.

Try some of the local produce at the Isenau Mountain Chalet (cheese, serac, etc).
