Trekking - Introductory trail - Tour de la Palette

Lac Retaud - Isenau - Palette - Col des Andérets - Col de Voré - Lac Retaud

Route with a magnificent 360° view over the Diablerets massif, Lake Arnon and the Ormonts valley.

From Lac Retaud, follow the footpath until La Marnèche (above Isenau) then continue along the path which goes via the bottom station of the Palette ski lift. After this the path angles up dramatically, becoming steep and narrow up to the summit of La Palette. From the summit the path descends at a gentle incline to the Col des Andérets. From here take the path on the right until the Col de Voré, crossing the Chalet Vieux mountain pasture, and then on to Lac Retaud.

La buvette de la Marnèche with its charming terrace offering stunning views of the Diablerets mountains awaits you.
In the mountain pasture Chalet Vieux you can find local products (cheese, serac whey cheese, etc.).
If the weather is good you can take a dip in Lac Retaud or have a picnic on the banks of this tranquil expanse of water.
Restaurant at Lac Retaud.
