for the start of the 2022 school year

AN APPRENTICE COMMERCIAL EMPLOYEE

During your apprenticeship, you will rotate between different departments, allowing you to acquire solid knowledge in the tourism field.

You have completed your compulsory education or have already finished it.
You have a real motivation to undertake an apprenticeship in the tourism sector.
You know our region well.
You are curious, dynamic, communicative, enthusiastic and mature.
You are fluent in French and have knowledge of English and German.

If you are interested in joining a team of about fifteen employees, apprentices and trainees, please send us your application file, which must include: a letter of motivation, a Curriculum Vitae with a photo, your semester reports for the last two years, and any work certificates or certificates of training.

  • The House of Tourism in gryon is recruiting:

The resort of Gryon, located in the Vaud Alps, is part of the Villars-Gryon-Les Diablerets – Bex tourist axis. Gryon is a dynamic family resort with some 7,000 residential beds. It is a gateway to the ski area and offers a multitude of activities and entertainment throughout the year. The Maison du Tourisme de Gryon is responsible for managing all aspects of local tourism, welcoming guests, providing recreational and sports facilities and organising local events. Our DNA is based on welcoming family clients, sustainable development, and the quality of our infrastructure and activities during the four seasons.
In order to complete our team, we are looking for

A WELCOME AND TOURISM ADMINISTRATOR (JUNIOR) - 100%

Profile required:
• Able to work in a commercial environment, trained as a receptionist or receptionist, tourism school diploma, or similar training
• Administrative and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent command of French and English, a third language would be an asset
• Good knowledge of OpenOffice software (Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook)
• Knowledge of Photoshop or/and Illustrator
• Ability to communicate in a professional manner via social networks
• Good customer relations skills
• Knowledge of the Gryon-Villars region and the mountains is an asset

Job description:
• Reception and information for guests
• Researching and organising documentation
• Organisation of the reception desk and shop
• Collection of the day tax
• Sale of goods and ticketing
• Administration and correspondence
• Administrative follow-up of mail, invoices and routine business
• Keeping reports and statistics
• Helping to plan events
• Helping to create documents and visuals

Miscellaneous;
• Working at weekends and during holidays and festivities
• Commitment by December 2021
