1. ACCEPTANCE OF GENERAL terms and CONDITIONS
These general terms and conditions set the legal conditions on the basis of which the Association Touristique Porte des Alpes (hereafter: “Villars tourist office”) with its head office at Avenue Centrale 140 to 1884 Villars-sur-Ollon (Switzerland) and which may be contacted via the e-mail address: firstname.lastname@example.org, allows you to obtain and use a prepaid “Villars à la carte” card. By purchasing a prepaid card, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these general terms and conditions and that you accept being bound by them.
The Villars tourist office may modify these general terms and conditions at any time. Customers will be informed of any modification in advance by e-mail. Modifications will be considered to have been approved if the customer does not state anything to the contrary in writing (at least via e-mail) to the Villars tourist office in the month following the modifications.
2. CONDITIONS OF OBTAINING THE “VILLARS À LA CARTE” CARD
The Villars tourist office offers prepaid cards to the value of CHF 25, CHF 50, and CHF 100 for sale. These may be used in the participating shops in Villars.
3. how it works
The prepaid “Villars à la carte” card may be used from 1 December 2020 to 15 August 2022 as a means of payment to service providers participating in the offer. The list is available on the platform (hotels, sports shops, transport and certain restaurants). It may be used by the customer to pay their bill in full or part, with a single or several service providers, on one or several occasions, within the limits of the balance available.
There is no right under any circumstances to resell the card or claim monetary reimbursement of the balance of the card.
4. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent possible by law, the Villars tourist office excludes all and any warranty, guaranty and responsibility in relation to the Villars card or the Platform.
Villars tourist office has signed a collaboration agreement with the company Boncard, which provides the service and management system for prepaid cards "Villars à la carte". Boncard makes every effort to allow a trouble-free and uninterrupted use of the service but cannot guarantee this at all times. It reserves in particular the right to suspend the access to the service at any time in the event of a high security risks or malfunctioning as well as for maintenance work and to temporarily suspend the system in the event of force majeure event or technical failure.
No claim for damages may result from technical failures which exclude or hinder the use of the Villars card. OTV does not warrant that the Platform shall be available at all times and expressly reserves the possibility to discontinue the Platform at any time without notice
Villars tourist office is in no case responsible for the services provided by the providers as part of the use of the Villars card. Only the provider is responsible and its own conditions apply to the relationship between itself and the client.
Villars tourist office will sent the cards to the hotel before the client's arrival by “A Mail” (courrier A) of La Poste. Villars tourist office shall under no circumstances be held responsible for any late delivery by La Poste. The cards will not be sent at the client’s home.
